Certificate of Higher Education Skills for the Workplace
This program will equip students for various job opportunities in the public and private health and social care environment with a focus on adult and child care. For instance, residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, clinical health settings and day-care centres. Students will be able to take up roles such as Care Assistant, Family Support Worker, Community Worker and Teaching Assistant. After successful completion of this programme, students are welcome to continue studying with the university and do the BSc (Hons) Health & Social Care programme.
Progression route: On successful completion, students have an option to study B Sc Hons Health and Social Care degree with a further two years study at the same university.
Campus: London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Swansea
Duration: 1-year full time
Intake : January/ June/ September
Class: 2 days per week( 4hrs in a day)
Entry Criteria: No qualifications required.
